About Me
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and have been practicing in the field for 10 years. I obtained my M.Ed. in Counselling Psychology from OISE at the University of Toronto in 2014. Much of my work experience lies in working with the urban Indigenous community of Toronto. My passion for psychotherapy has driven me to take specialized training in trauma and play therapy with children.
I first became interested in psychotherapy through my own healing work. Sitting in the client's chair across from a caring therapist was one of the first times that I felt truly "seen". As I believe greatly in the concept of the "wounded healer", I take it upon myself to continue to do my own healing work not only for my own personal growth but also for the benefit of my clients. To maintain professional accountability, I am an active member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and participate in regular clinical supervision.
Growing up on the West Coast of Canada, I have a deep appreciation for nature and living a balanced lifestyle. I enjoy cycling, running, swimming, dancing, music, trains, and travel.
